Nestled in the forrest fir trees on the 3rd floor of a semi-private building. Just 300 metres from the ski lift, toboggan runs and Lake Frienze.

Two Bedrooms

Located on the upper floor, the two bedrooms are in wood and have skylight windows. The large master bedroom is wood-panelled and contains a large 160×200 double bed, two bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe. The smaller bedroom is in white and wood, and can sleep up to four people, with a 140×200 double bed and two 90×200 single beds under a small alcove.

The bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom with WC. A second bathroom with shower is on the lower floor.

The View

The flat is located on the third floor of a semi-private part of the building and has a large covered wrap-around balcony. It offers a breathtaking view of the mountains and forest, which are timeless and far removed from civilisation.

The views from the appartment are simply breathtaking. You can admire some of the most beautiful Alpine peaks, such as the Grand Muveran and the Miroir d’Argentine, as well as the 100-million-year-old coral reef and even the Dents du Midi. This view is unique in any season and will help you recharge your batteries and reconnect with nature.

The large covered balcony is a great place to eat, sunbathe, do some woodwork, feed the birds or store your hiking gear. You can enjoy the sun for around 4+ hours a day.

Large Living Room

The daytime living area is spacious and can be used to relax, entertain guests, read, write or spend time with the family. It has two separate areas for different activities, including a dining table, fire place and TV screen.

The stunning views and light add a touch of beauty and serenity to the room. The large fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere. The large sofa is perfect for relaxing and unwinding, but can also be used for sleeping if required. The dining table is ideal for meals and for watching the sunsets.

From February 2024, the 100 cm wide fireplace will contain a glass surround for improved heat retention.

We ask that you bring your own firewood!

We ask that you bring your own firewood. Over a weekend, depending on how much you use it, the fireplace can consume two to three 10 kg packs of firewood.

In winter, you’ll need around three or four packs per weekend to fuel it.

Two Bathrooms

On the upper floor, the bathroom has a skylight and is decorated in an 80s wood style. It has a bath with shower, washbasin, toilet, mirror and shelves.

On the entrance floor, the shower room is modern and has a window. It has a shower cubicle, washbasin, toilet, mirror cabinet.

The upstairs bathroom is always heated and does not need to have the radiator turned on. However, the radiator in the shower room on the entrance floor can be turned on when you arrive and turned down at night or when you are not in the flat. Remember to turn off all the heaters when you leave, except for the shower room, where the radiator should be on 1 during periods of extreme cold (when the temperature falls below -10°C).

Kitchen

With views over the forest, the open-plan kitchen is practical for cooking while chatting with friends, other family members or guests. Kitchen appliances include 3 hotplates, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine.

Important to know
The canton of Vaud has specific rules on waste separation. It is mandatory that you use specific taxed rubbish bags for waste collection. We provide you with one of these upon arrival. You will have to buy your own local rubbish bags and can find them at the checkouts of all local supermarkets. 
Please be aware that if you are caught throwing away waste in a back or other rubbish bag, you will be fined up to 500 CHF by the local authorities!
